Second, I'm on break right now but as soon as I'm back to my dorm with all my dormish things and arts in it, I'll get to posting the pictures of you guys I drew. I didn't draw everyone, but I did draw a few, I should think. As always, I'm a tardy twit but don't feel left out in the rain about it.

So, what I was saying was
I recently decided I'd go as long as I can without drawing fanart, in part because fanart is tres embarrassin' and in other part because I want to focus on developing the visual style of a comic i wish to do.
I had thought this would be a good lead in to the subject of this journal but alas I forgot what my point was. If there ever was one. I don't got much evidence to support myself but I think there was.

Well, while I try and to remember why this is linked to that, and that to this, I gotta request for y'alls. Would you guys be so kind as to send a picture or description of yourself or of an acquaintance so that I might get some practice in drawing reality-grounded, varied faces in a more graphic style? I'm trying to simplify without getting too generic or anime-lookin', and I'm not too sure if I'm achieving my aims.
Even if I have a total likeness and stylistic failure, you might get a goofy inaccurate caricature out of the deal. Such value!

I'll set up a ustream on Friday  (at let's say 9 PM UTC/ 3 PM Central USA time) and draw what faces I can and post them up this weekend or so. Show up if you want to have a good time. Another reason to show up is you want to hang out with cool internet folks.

There's nothing that makes me gladder than having people enjoy my profoundly dumb drawings! It also makes me happy when people share those drawings with like-minded people, the more the merrier! What I DON'T like and what actually makes me sad and frustrated is when a picture of mine is shared without credit, or with portions of the image altered or cut. I don't mind you guys reposting, reblogging or tweeting my silly fanarts, but please please please DON'T edit them or omit credit! It's disrespectful and makes me not want to post stuff to DA if people are going to continue to 'swipe the goods', so to speak.
And, well, honestly there's a lot more I can say on the subject, but really that's what it boils down to.

Currently I am writing a comic called INFERNAL MEDICINE so everyone get their hopes up really high so that the collective disappointment that will come when I never finish it will be all the more delicious to me
